The role involves working from home on a daily basis with daily travel involved to provide direct support to the property procurement team. The role requires the procurement officer to manage their own case load and follow procedures in order to meet key performance objectives and sales targets of the company. The role also involves working within your regional area and making contact with current landlords and agents, and also developing relationships with new potential landlords and agents.
There are various administration duties with daily meetings and liaising with other members of the team and sharing best practice to support the company in achieving our procurement/sales targets.
You will report into the Procurement Team Leader and provide help and support where required and also assist in compiling reports for weekly meetings and updates for the Head of Procurement Services and the Board of Directors.
The role involves extensive travel and some out of hours work to enable us to provide full coverage across the contract region.
Areas to be covered would be London, Southampton, South East England and South West England.
